Chesapeake Code LLC provides technology services including but not limited to website design and development and AI business transformation consulting and implementation. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each engagement are defined in a separate project proposal or service agreement provided to the client prior to commencement of work.
All pricing is provided on a flat-rate or monthly retainer basis as specified in your project proposal or service agreement. Payment terms include:

We retain the right to use general knowledge, techniques, and non-proprietary tools developed during the engagement in future projects. Third-party software, frameworks, and open-source libraries remain subject to their respective licenses.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chesapeake Code LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Either party may terminate a service agreement with 30 days written notice. For project-based work, if the client terminates before project completion, the client is responsible for payment of all work completed to date. For monthly retainer services, termination takes effect at the end of the current billing period following the 30-day notice. Upon termination, we will deliver all completed work and project files to the client.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Frederick County, Maryland.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
